Hi everybody, today we are going to take a look at the Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3. This is one of the Samsung Galaxy’s phones, that I would like to call the baby to the Samsung Galaxy S.
The Galaxy 3 has TouchWiz 3.0 user interface just like the Galaxy S. Which mean you still have multiple homescreens and all the great UI features of the Galaxy S. The Galaxy 3 has Android 2.1 and a 3.2 inch WQVGA TFT (240×400) Capacitive touchscreen. This let us know that the phone is smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S, with no Amoled Screen only TFT LCD, but it still has the Capacitive touch. Which is great for quick and precise touching on the Android and TouchWiz Interface. The phone has a 3.0 (2048×1536) Megapixel camera with Auto Focus, Geo Tagging and Smile Detection. The video only records QVGA at 15fps and has no Secondary Camera. The Galaxy 3 has wifi b/g/n annd Bluetooth v3.0. The only thing that bothers me is that the phone only has 170MB of on board storage with a microsd slot. The phone has a 667 MHz processor with 512 ROM
and 256 RAM. (Which is good for a low end phone).
In my personal Opinion, I would have loved to see a low end phone with a Amoled screen, but the other features are great. This phone retails for $269.99 – $499.99 unlocked price, which is great to have a Android 2.1 and TouchWiz 3.0 phone in your hand, and this phone will get the Android 2.2 update. Also the Shape and feel of this phone is great. I love the smooth and sleek design which fits perfectly in your hand with out being too big. Which is great for easy Navigation through menus and Apps.
