Today we are going to take a look at the Nokia N8, which is suppose to be release during the 3rd quarter of this year. The Nokia N8 feature a 12mp camera from Carl Zeiss Optics that has a Xenon flash. It has 16gigs on board storage that can be expanded using microsd cards. The phone has a ARM 11 680 MHz processor ,and a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator. It also has 256MB RAM and 512 ROM which allows decent Multitasking through out the phone.
The Nokia N8 is also the 1st phone to run on Symbian^3 platform. The phone also has the ability to record and playback video in 720p. This phone also has an Anodized Aluminum Casing which means the color is made into the metal and not just painted on. If the user were to scratch the phone, with this metal all you do is wipe and the scratch is gone. (We are talking about minimal scratches from keys, coins, and lighters) With this metal on the phone, there is no longer a back cover. The battery can not be removed. The simcard slot and microsd slot are on the side of the phone.
The phone also has a free life time of Ovi Maps, and has wifi wireless signals b/g/and n. The phone also sports new touch features such as pinch to zoom and has 3 home screens.
