Hi everybody my name is Baba and I love technology. I will be posting things from new phones and anything that looks cool. Right now I’m the owner of the Nokia N97 waiting for my new phone the Nokia N8.
Today I’m going to be talking about the Samsung I8520 Beam.
As you know the Beam, I like to call the Little brother to the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. Its main feature is it built in Projector, but its price makes it very nice. With this phone being less than $400.00 USD it is a great buy. This phone was just released in London on the 22nd of July. The Os in this phone is the same as its big brother being Android v2.1 (Eclair) and we are told that a patch to v2.2 will be sent to this phone as well as the I9000. The processor rumors were getting alittle crazy. Many people said it was 800MHz but its not. The phone has a 720MHz and this mistake came from people clocking the phone. When they clocked the phone the phone speed was clocked at 800MHz. Also the WVGA Projector is able to project an image from 5 to 50 inches at 6 – 9 lumens. Another good feature of this phone is the 8 megapixal camera (3264×2448) with LED Flash that can record HD 720p video at 30fps. The Beam has all the same Os functions as it big brother the I9000 just not as fast. This phone has 16gig internal memory 384MB RAM 512 ROM. This Phone also has a 3.7inch (480×800) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Which is very nice to the eyes and can be seen clearly in direct sunlight.
